The Best Ice Cream in Orlando

This is the definitive list of the best ice cream in Orlando, Florida curated by an ice cream snob who has lived here for over a decade. I am excluding large chains that you can get outside of Orlando or the southwest United States like Dairy Queen and Culver's.

I have not yet visited The Greenery Creamery or West Orange Creamery and Soda Fountain.

 Ice Cream

  1. L’Artisan des Glaces
Unfortunately this spot is located within EPCOT, but if you happen to be going there anyways on your vacation, this is well worth the trip to the France Pavilion.

  2. Kelly's Homemade Ice Cream
Outside of Walt Disney World, this is the best ice cream you can get in Orlando. Although, their waffle cones have disappointed me twice.

Soft Serve

  1. Twistee Treat
A Central Florida classic with a huge menu.
  2. Florean Fortescue's Ice-Cream Parlour
If you are a Potter-head, this is the only place I know of to get butterbeer flavored soft-serve.

Gelato

  1. Vivoli il Gelato
The best (or the only?) gelato in Orlando. If you like gelato and are near Walt Disney World, this is worth a stop.

Frozen Deserts

  1. Sunshine Tree Terrace
Is there anything better than a Dole Whip?
  2. Jeremiah's Italian Ice
I love going here for the Gelati deserts.
  3. The Fountain of Fair Fortune or Hog's Head
Frozen Butterbeer is the best butterbeer.
  4. Milk Stand
Only place in the world you can get Batuu’s Blue or Green Milk with a shot of Rum

That is it, that is the list. Everything else is a waste of time. Beaches & Cream and Plaza Ice Cream Parlor serve the same Edy's ice cream you can buy at the grocery store. I hope you have a magical time in Orlando!
